Ingredients

  • ½ cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tablespoon fine sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon ground black
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  • Pulse several times until the mixture is fine and like an evenly blended powder.
  • Transfer to an airtight glass jar and store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
  • To make broth, whisk 1 tablespoon of the powder into 1 cup of hot water until dissolved.

Notes

  • If you prefer a stronger flavor, increase the poultry seasoning.
  • If your poultry seasoning has salt use less salt. You can always add more.
  • When storing make sure to keep the jar tightly sealed and away from humidity. The powder also freezes well if you want to extend shelf life.
  • This recipe makes about 1 cup of bouillon powder (roughly 16 servings of broth).
  • The nutritional info is an estimated and will vary based on how much salt and sugar you use as well as what kind nutritional yeast is used.
