Easy Vegan Chicken Broth Recipe (DIY Bouillon Powder)

½ cup nutritional yeast flakes 1 tablespoon fine sea salt 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon ground turmeric ½ teaspoon ground black 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Pulse several times until the mixture is fine and like an evenly blended powder.
Transfer to an airtight glass jar and store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
To make broth, whisk 1 tablespoon of the powder into 1 cup of hot water until dissolved.
If you prefer a stronger flavor, increase the poultry seasoning.
If your poultry seasoning has salt use less salt. You can always add more.
When storing make sure to keep the jar tightly sealed and away from humidity. The powder also freezes well if you want to extend shelf life.
This recipe makes about 1 cup of bouillon powder (roughly 16 servings of broth).
